The Cleveland Browns are shooting for the starts. On March 12th, 2019, the Browns closed a deal that has everyone talking: they acquired receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and pass rusher Olivier Vernon from the New York Giants. Odell Beckham looks refreshed with his new deal and said in an interview:

“Cleveland is gonna get be the best version of Odell Beckham Jn. that they could possibly have…”

High hopes for the Browns

High hopes for the Browns, as they also are betting on sizzling rookie quarterback Baker Mayfield, who led them to win 5 of the last 7 games during the 2018 NFL campaign.
Odell Beckham’s answer when asked about being matched with Mayfield:

“… it’s gonna be pretty dangerous”.

And that statement sounds just about right!

Last year, Mayfield set a record for passing touchdowns by a rookie quarterback, and the team posted the best yards-per-offensive-play figure in the NFL (6.6) in the eight games for which
current coach Freddie Kitchens was the offensive coordinator. The Browns are really looking to turn years of losing season around, and they are already making headlines. The main teams to beat: Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers (See 2018 NFL Standings).

The good news for the Browns is that both teams, the Ravens and the Steelers have lost really big names such as Le’Veon Bell and Antonio Brown for the Steelers and Joe Flacco for the Ravens, also key defensive players such as linebacker C.J. Mosley (traded to the NY Jets), outside linebacker Terrell Suggs (traded to AZ Cardinals), outside linebacker Za’Darius Smith (traded to GB Packers) and free safety Eric Weddle (traded to the L.A. Rams).

Look out for the Cleveland Browns!
