In a story published Monday, May 6th, 2019, Odell Beckham told GQ that he is determined to help turn the Cleveland Browns “into the new Patriots”, as he firmly believes the team has a “Dynasty Level”.
“I plan on being there for the next five years,” Beckham told GQ, “and trying to bring as many championships there as possible.”
Beckham was traded to the Browns from the New York Giants in March in exchange for safety Jabrill Peppers. He expressed in his interview having been “…the happiest I’ve ever been in my life”, since the trade, and he continues to express his admiration for his new quarterback Baker Mayfield and the rest of the team.
All the power to the Browns, they have certainly put together a great crew but this is the NFL, competition is rough and things take time, however, nothing wrong with some youthful excitement and high aspirations, right?
