Stanford vs UCF – Saturday, Sept 14th, 2019
Stanford is coming OFF a 20-45 loss against USC and will travel to another unfriendly territory, the University of Central Florida.
Betting sites opened the line at UCF -7 and has now moved to UCF -9, no surprise there.
The UCF Knights love playing at home, where they hold a record of 16-0 straight-up and 11-5 ATS in their last 16 games. The Knights have established themselves as one of the top programs outside of the Power 5 conferences.
Last week (Week 2), Stanford looked good during the first half against USC, but after half time we saw another team entirely. The Trojans walked all over them.
Stanford holds a pretty good historical record during Week 3 of 9-1 straight-up and 7-3 ATS, however, they will have a very tough time trying to hold UFC´s high-powered attack. After watching Stanford play last week, I don´t expect they possibly can.
UCF currently ranks 5th in total offense and 6th in total defense. On the flip side, Stanford ranks 93rd in total offense and
sits last in Pac-12 in total defense.
UCF will win and cover the 7-points of the opening line, however, if you didn´t take it already, you will have to give up at least 9 points by now. Consider teasing UCF, if you have another strong side in mind. I personally have it teased with Wake Forest but I have a suggestion for you: BYU.
BYU is playing against USC this week. The Trojans are playing with a backup quarterback and they might be overlooking BYU. BYU is a physical team and they play in altitude, which might take a toll in USC. Take the points with BYU as SECURE your teaser with UCF. Easy win!
